The movie is based on the novel by Alice Sebold. Susie Salmon, a 14 year old girl who live with her family in Pennsylvania. She was a lovely girl, she was loved by friends and teachers at school. One day she takes a shortcut home from her school and never come back, she was murdered and dismembered on the road. Her father has devoted himself to find her murderer. All the suspicions are focused on his mysterious neighbor,but isn’t going to be easy to proof about their suspicions. He keeps parts of her body in a safe and hides it where it is impossible to find out. Among all these events,she watches over everything from heaven. She tries to help that someone finds her disappeared body and detect her murderer.
