Clyde Shelton, an upstanding family man, is a well organized person who is planning every step of his moves. His daughter and wife are murdered by robbers who invades in his house. The case is assinged to the prosecutor Nick Rice. The DA wants Nick to make a deal with one of the killers but Clyde doesn't want it.
